Installing Winch 1

Select the right winch. There is no Substitute for Quality!
Make sure to select the right location for the components.
Read and Follow all warning labels, tags and instructions
Be sure to center the winch on the trailer. The solenoid pack should be out of the weather. Be sure to protect it.
Making the hole to pass the wires through to the battery box.
Fasten cables to prevent tangle and abrasion. (Notice the grommet in the transfer floor for cables.)
Carefully feed power and ground cables through protective grommet.
Here is what the finished cables look like before installing cable covering.
The remote controller allows you to operate winch standing safely back.
Be sure to reinforce the winch mount under the floor. I used a thick circular steel plate with extra hardware.
