Sam Memmolo

Dave McBride was Sam's Radio Co-Host.   Dave began by filling in for Sam whenever business took Sam out of town on Saturdays.  Eventually Dave McBride became Sam's full time co-host.  Dave had an incredible reputation as one of the brightest minds in the automotive industry.  He added an incredible technical dimension when it came to complex automotive systems.

McBride was owner & President of "Keystone Automotive Group", a technical training and services company with a list of clients including BWXT, Bechtel Jacobs, The Southern Company, Bellsouth, and many large corporations.  One of Keystone's newest projects was to create a complete maintenance program for a specialty group of SUV's and trucks used in an international country. This project included the design of garages, preventive maintenance, necessary inventory for routine service and technical training.

Dave was Director of Training for "Cummins South", The Cummins Engine distributor for Georgia and Southern Tennessee.  Dave had an incredible diesel engine and diesel systems background.  He trained and certified diesel engine technicians nationally.

Dave was also a certified EVT or Emergency Vehicle Technician Instructor.  He trained and certified technicians who service ambulances, fire truck, and other emergency vehicles.  His clients included municipalities and private corporations as well.

Dave was an ASE Certified Master Auto Technician and held the ASE Master Truck Technician Certification.  Dave & Sam  worked together for years at ALLEN TESTPRODUCTS as technical instructors as well as training department managers.

Dave McBride & Sam quickly became friends, and worked together on lots of technically challenging projects.  They developed and wrote technical papers, training curriculum, and managed a virtual army of the finest technical training instructors in the nation.  Some of the "Best Minds in the Business" included successful people like Jim Linder of Linder Technical Services (the Injector Guru).  John Bashor of JB Trades and Art Herman, now Director of Education at WyoTech.

Sam and Dave's careers had many parallels.  Before meeting at Allen Testproducts, they both owned and operated automotive service and repair facilities.  Sam's first shop was in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, and Dave's shop was in Pennsylvania.
