What HUMANE LAWS Were (and weren't) Passed in your State Lately?

A number of important bills to combat cruelty and improve the lives of animals were signed into law during state legislative sessions.

Unfortunately, many anticruelty messages weren't heard, and several inhumane bills were passed—including the legalization of the hunting of mourning doves in Minnesota and Michigan.

What happened in YOUR state last year? Visit the ASPCA Advocacy Center to check your state.  New sessions are already starting, so be sure to check to see if there is any pending legislation in your area.
